Analysis of possible threats in old OS Linux version

The bachelor thesis is focused on the security aspect of an older version of a Linux based machine. The document is split into a theoretical part which contains a description of what operating system, kernel, UNIX, GNU/LINUX and Linux OS are in general. Then the description proceeds to explanation of active and passive attacks such as replay, masquarade, denial of service, man in the middle or listening and analysing the network. Afterwards it continues with description of potentially vulnerable spots that are common on operating systems. With the help provided from scanning software, especially Nmap and Lynis, the document proceeds to the practical part which contains various types of successful and unsuccesfful attacks such as password recovery, denial of service, spectre, brute force of a password and cross-site scripting. The last part covers the protection against succesfull attacks and adds a little bit more of additional protection in general in a form of an ansible script.

Dry land training of swimmers in the age group 13-14 years

Title: Dry land training of swimmers in the age group 13-14 years Objectives: The aim of the bachelor thesis is to find out and to specialize the content of the dryland swimming training during basic swimming training. Due to different demand on focus on preparation of the swimmers on dryland in different phases of the training, the survey fixed its attention on swimmers aged 13-14 years. The research was conducted in swimming clubs with their sports activity in Prague and Central Bohemian region. Methods: The main method of the research was using a self-report questionnaire. To evaluate the research data, the methods of analysis and comparison were used. The sectorial analysis was applied to the subentries with help of the graph showing. One used the method of comparison to compare the acquired data in the given regions of the Czech Republic. Results: Despite some differences between Prague and the Central Bohemia results suggest that three quarters of the surveyed swimming clubs realize dry land training for 13-14 year old swimmers in the range of 1-2 hours per week with the most common subsidies of between 45-60 minutes before swimming training in a swimming pool complex areas, or even off-campus swimming pool. Reporting of financial derivate in accounting and its use in a financial deciding

This diploma thesis deals with the issue of financial derivatives, their reporting, classification, accounting point of view and use on the example of a particular entity. The theoretical part summarizes the general theoretical knowledge about the given issue. The main goal of this thesis is to evaluate possibilities of using financial derivatives from the accounting and financial perspective of company named Schäfer Sudex s.r.o. This enterprise produces food containers made of stainless steel. The analysis of receivables and payables shows that the enterprise should ensure against the possible decline in value of foreign receivables as result of exchange rate variability. This thesis presents suggestions for securing receivables. Based on results, recommended solutions were created. Company should secure value of their receivables by using forward. Based at conservative exchange rate development, profit would be 4 mil CZK. But at aggressive change, earnings would exceed 18,7 mil CZK.
Accounting and tax specifics of receivables

The thesis deals with the accounting and tax specifics receivables, in particular by ensuring receivables and the management of overdue debts. In the case of overdue debts focuses on allowances and depreciation with different impact on accounting profit and tax base. The main objective is to identify differences in accounting and tax receivable, ways of securing and their display in accounting. Conclusion The work consists Interpretation of the National Accounting Council dealing with receivables, receivables management research in eight selected companies and the aggregate accounting an example of a real company.

Title: Detention of person caught committing a crime Key words: Securing, a detention, suspicious person Abstract The purpose of this theses was an analysis of valid legislation of detention of a person while committing a crime and following judicature conclusions. The detention of an individual, as one of the ensuring institutes of the criminal procedure code, is one of the most important security measure immanent to the Czech laws. This measure breaches within the law the protection of personal liberty of an individual in favor of the public authority. Therefore it is necessary to pay attention to this issue and submit its regulation to the public professional debate. The resulting legislation must always reflect the principle of minimizing interference by public authority to the personal liberty of any individual, while reflecting current societal needs. The inspiration for the elaboration of this thesis was a brief insight by the author to the application practice of public prosecutor's offices and relevant police units. This thesis is divided into five chapters which are further divided into subchapters. In the first chapter the reasons for elaboration this thesis are specified in detail.
